The 2009 movie Consequences, a film produced by Troy McDonald, Associate Principal La Crosse Central High School, Lisa Buley,  La Crosse Central High School Counselor and Ron Haese and  Christopher Moehr with Haesefilm Ltd. Productions,  showed just how wrong things could turn when teens make poor choices.  After Nick falls to alcohol poisoning, his friends leave him in fear of getting caught. A decision that turns seriously wrong in a deadly car accident.

The film stars nine La Crosse Central High School students, who helped develop the storyline and played themselves about a drinking party gone wrong and the horrendous consequences that followed.

The cast includes Cal Thornton, Caleb Manske, Jenna Erickson, Nick LaRue, Nicholas Garvin, Allyson Hennessy, Brad Glendenning, Chang Vang, Tessa Johnson along with professional film actors Jesse Stokdyk and Jessica Moehr.
